1. Agreement
By installing or using Ibadah, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
These terms cover the Ibadah app for Android (package com.isuitedesign.ibadah), published by isuitedesign ("we", "us"). They take effect on 16 October 2026.
How we handle your information is explained in the Ibadah Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
2. Your licence to use Ibadah
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use Ibadah on Android devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. Your use must also follow the terms of Google Play, where the app is distributed.
You do not need an account to use the app. Some optional features, such as the Ayat Planner and Google Drive backup, need you to sign in with Google.
3. Religious content and accuracy
Ibadah is a tool to support your worship. It is not a religious authority and does not issue rulings.
- Prayer times come from JAKIM e-Solat for your zone. Azan and reminders depend on your phone's settings, battery optimisation, notification and exact-alarm permissions, so they may be late or missed. Please check against your local masjid or authority when timing matters.
- Quran text, translations, Mushaf pages and audio come from the third-party sources listed in the privacy policy. We take care in choosing them, but translations are human interpretations and errors can occur.
- Recitation checking is automatic and runs on your phone. It can make mistakes and does not replace learning with a qualified teacher.
- Weather, air quality and masjid listings come from outside services and may be out of date or incomplete.
If you notice an error in religious content, please tell us at [email protected] so we can look into it.
4. Third-party services
Some features rely on services we do not control, such as JAKIM e-Solat, Open-Meteo, data.gov.my, the World Air Quality Index, solat.my, masjidnear.me, OpenStreetMap, Google Places, the Quran Foundation API, quran.com, EveryAyah, QuranicAudio, UmmahAPI and Google Firebase. Each service is provided under its own terms.
We are not responsible for their availability, accuracy or changes. If a service stops working or changes its rules, the feature that depends on it may change or stop working too.
5. Your data and backups
Your notes, bookmarks, recordings, progress and other content belong to you. They are stored on your phone, not on our servers, so we cannot recover them for you.
You are responsible for keeping backups, whether by exporting .ibadah files or by using Google Drive backup. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage permanently removes the data on your phone.
6. Google sign-in and Drive
If you sign in with Google, you remain responsible for your Google account and its security. Drive backups are stored in your own Google account and are subject to Google's terms and storage limits. The app keeps the 5 newest backups and deletes older ones, as described in the privacy policy.
7. Acceptable use
When using Ibadah, you agree not to:
- copy, modify, resell or redistribute the app or its content, except where the law allows it;
- reverse engineer, decompile or try to extract the app's source code, except where the law allows it;
- misuse the app's connections to third-party services, for example by automating requests, overloading them, or extracting app keys;
- use the app in a way that breaks the law or harms other people.
8. Intellectual property
The Ibadah name, logo, design and software belong to isuitedesign. Quran translations, Mushaf fonts, recitations and other third-party content belong to their respective owners and are used under their terms. Nothing in these terms gives you ownership of any of it.
9. Disclaimer
Ibadah is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promise that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its content or timings will always be accurate. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, isuitedesign is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, arising from your use of, or inability to use, Ibadah. This includes missed or late notifications, inaccurate timings or content, and outages of third-party services.
11. Ending your use
You can stop using Ibadah at any time by uninstalling it. We may update, change or stop offering the app or any feature. If you break these terms, your licence to use the app ends.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update this page and its date. If you keep using Ibadah after a change, you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and any disputes will be handled by the courts of Malaysia.
